Sunset Ridge Home, 2015 Parade Winner!

At 3850 Sq. Ft. this home boasts 4 bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, a formal office, media room, and a 4 car heated garage. The home's exterior is antique brick from Chicago and limestone from Texas. The home boasts a lifetime shingle and wood windows by WeatherShield. Every possible detail was thought out in this 2015 Parade of Homes entry by Celtic Construction. The grass is fescue and there is an in ground sprinkler system, front and back, to keep it green all year round. The garage doors are insulated with wood and cedar accents. A lifetime shingle completes the roof

Round gutter downspouts compliment the "old world" feel of the home. The windows were custom ordered in "bronze" and are all wood by Weathershield

The one of a kind front door is "knotty Alder" and was made in Missouri with the Cetlic Sheild emblems which we display on all our signs at work.

The Formal Dining room has a custom wall texture and is faux finished to seperate it from the rest of the house even though it's open to the main living area.

The Study is completed in all hardwoods and stained in a "Dark Oak". Verser cabinets supplied the built in gun cases. The fireplace is electric to allow enjoyment even in the Summer without the heat.

We don't keep the seats this way, but for the pics the photographer thought this was better. You can see the custom made sword hanger for the collection of blades.

The Family room is less formal with a stone wall to bring the outside in. The floors are from Bella Cera and are a Hickory and three different widths intermixed. The beams are actually hollow, we put the wood through a router that gives them the old world look.

The Kitchen has the double island look, we achieved this by taking the curved bar in the plan and straightening it out. We pushed the breakfast area out in order to enlarge the kitchen.

The island is actually stained, then painted and finally sanded to give it the "old world" look. The granite has an "OG" edge and is called Hawaii

The cabinetry has all anti-slam doors and drawers and was totally designed by Verser Cabinets. Hidden spice racks, pull out drawers, etc.

The appliances are all Electrolux Icon including gas range, dishwasher, double ovens, microwave, trash compactor and a French Door refrigerator.

The half bath has a custom wall texture with faux silver foil behind it. The faucet is from Brizo and is LED.

The master ceiling is barreled and runs all the way through the rooms ceiling. It's painted with a gold paint that has real flecks of gold though this pic doesn't not show it due to the LED rope lighting hidden in the crown molding. The back wall is trimmed in Popular wood to give an "old world"...

Hardwood floors are used in the entire home other than wet areas, including ALL bedrooms. As in all our homes we use 7 inch crown and 6 to 7 inch base trim.

The master bath has yet another "style" cabinet to show off all the amazing work Verser Cabinets can do. These are antiqued with a glazing process. The faucets are "open trough" style in bronze.

The master soaking tub is arched and finished in all travertine stone, including this amazing "herringbone" pattern done in stone as well.

Up on the top landing, we chose to carpet this for sound reasons and used a great patterned carpet from Encore Flooring and more.

We added a barrel ceiling in the upstairs hallway to add some interest. Also installed an "artist niche" which we had faux finished to display our stone gaurdian angel.

One of 2 upstiars bedrooms. The kids chose their colors of course. We've since added a lot of decor in here, NO posters allowed in this home. Each room we added a crystal chandelier as a reading light.

One side of the "Jack and Jill" bath. Granite counter tops with glass tile backsplashes add a "transitional" look to this bathroom.

Pocket doors lead to both sides of the shower area with cast iron tub and glass doors. The fixtures are "brushed nickel" to add a little modern feel without totally getting away from the old world.

We chose a "waterfall" effect in glass tile for the kids upstairs shower/tub. The head comes off for easy hand held use as well.

Upstairs bedroom number two. The ceiling was sloped so we added the paneled look. Again the hardwood was installed here as well. All the bedrooms have flat screen TV's, walk-in closets, and shoe racks built in.

Upstairs media room. Again for sound purposes we chose carpet for this room. The ceiling is painted Flat Black, while the walls are painted in "Fireweed". All the built in's are stained, then painted black then sanded to give them a "Pub Feel" of ancient wood.

The back porch is stamped and stained concrete as well. It has a natural gas BBQ, fireplace, TV, and leads to the deck.
