The living room has a charcoal-black fireplace finished with honed Black Absolute granite tile. Complementing the design are built-in floor to ceiling bookshelves where the owner can place all his design and culinary books and magazines.

A solution to the mediocre view from the south window (a brick wall) was the idea of installing a “window box” measuring 3’ in depth, lit by 3 semi-flush ceiling lamps, to display the owner’s artwork.

The kitchen is done in very conservative but contemporary style and color palette. The style accent of the entire space is stainless steel kitchen cabinets and shelves along east wall designed specially according to the owner’s specifications.

The backsplash is ceramic tile Ceramica Grigio Scuro designed by Silvia Giacobazzi giving a techno style look to the kitchen cabinets.

The powder room has a unique retro atmosphere with mocha color linen vinyl wall covering on the west wall and smoked eucalyptus panels (to match kitchen cabinetry) on the east wall. The bathtub is recessed in tiled platform that is leveled with the bench in shower (platform that is continuing in shower and uses as a bench).
