The Groves | Addition | Remodel

Removed from this space was white tile with dark grout. Book case was added and wood railings were replaced with wrought iron. Stairs were white tile, replaced with wood treads and painted white risers, replacing the white tile. LED Can lighting was added throughout the home.

Fabulous working and eating island in the heart of the home - kitchen- functions as a terrific gathering place where kitchen prep is accomplished as well as children's homework and meals are served.

Kitchen, dining room and great room were individual spaces. Walls were removed to create an airy, well lite living space that provides lots of energy and gathering areas.

Walls from individual spaces were removed to create this airy wonderful space for the family and friends to enjoy. The large island has lots of storage and a great place for family to congregate for food preparation, homework and hosting.

Corner windows are new. Previous windows were angled straight from left to right minimizing the outstanding additional storage and airiness of the kitchen.

Space between the garage and stair case going to the main floor was reconfigured. Here everyone has their own bin(s). This transition space has become an organized drop off point when entering the home from school or extra activities.

Putting a solid core barn door onto a space that otherwise would have a full sized door bulging into a hall way was the best solution for this compact laundry room

An additional bathroom was added to the children's section of the home. Simply and efficiently done to incur minimum expense but to be space efficient and easy to maintain.

Every home should have a princess. This space was part of the addition to the home allowing the children to have their own space to play and to study as they grow to maturity in this lovely home.

The entry was modified by squaring off the space and adding a window. This allowed for enlarging the kitchen and bringing more light into the space. Driveway was expanded to create better access to garages.
