With the removal of two walls, this kitchen was expanded from a small, confined room to an open, warm, and elegant solution with a large island and interplay between spaces. By raising the floor and introducing new windows and large, bi-parting patio doors, the former "green house" was transformed into a livable family space with a direct connection to the outdoors.
