This home is a complete reimagining of a property originally designed for one person who entertained often into a family home. The previous layout was elegant, but impractical for a young family of five, with minimal storage and flow that didn't support daily life.

Duet Design and Duet Build partnered from the foundation up, taking the house to the studs and redesigning it through a modern lens. We brought in clean lines, sculptural lighting, warm neutrals, and ensured every detail was durable, functional, and beautiful. The home features modern, but soft architecture, linear and refined millwork, and a calm, continuous palette of taupe, warm white, soft charcoal, and quiet wood tones.

The Linear House is now a modern family home, made for movement, comfort, and longevity. It's sophisticated without sacrificing coziness and warmth, and reflects the life of the tall, active, growing family who it was designed around.
