While the rest of Houston moves towards tearing down charming older bungalow style homes around town, these clients wanted to retire in this adorable 1930's bungalow in Montrose. We kept many of the pieces they had collected through the years, such as art, and some fabulous antiques. We even saved the original pine flooring by sanding it down, and giving it a clear coat of varnish. We added all new upholstered pieces, accessories, art, linens, along with a fabulous new floor plan, and color scheme. The home got a complete overhaul, but we still maintained the charm and character of the original building.
