The Refuge

This is one of our more recent projects. A timber frame home meant to serve as a secondary retreat. The owner was involved every step of the way, from layout and blueprints to materials and the interior decor.

Yellow Pine ceilings and Easter While Pine timbers make up the ceiling and are found throughout the entire home.

This iron staircase leads up to an additional lofted living space.

Here you can see both the main living space along with the openness of the additional living space. The exposed ceiling and timbers are visible throughout the open space.

The loft area serves as a multipurpose space, currently being used as an additional sleeping space along with a dining room.

The Refuge is timber frame, log home with a strong panel metal roof. A stamped concrete porch leads to a Dutch front door as well as a sun room to the side of the home.
