Rooke Creative

Thread Intl.

Thread International creates fabric from recycled water bottles and they wanted a space to reflect their commitment to minimizing waste and reusing items.
- Custom desks were designed and made by Rooke Creative using reclaimed wood legs, with the capacity to be locked together in pods or be used separately as their company was rapidly growing.
- A reclaimed wood planter was created for the center of the pod with outlets for charging.
- An oversized work table was designed and created to accommodate large bolts of fabric and handle daily shipping quotas.
- Wall-mounted bolt storage
- A kitchenette was designed and created mostly from discarded doors and poly carbonite sourced secondhand.
- Custom letters using scraps of Thread Intl materials were used on the front. Concrete was laid to fill in the door cavities.
- Benches and sling chair were made using reclaimed materials and client fabric.
- Custom pegboards were created to be mounted in the offices as a display of their work but were created to fold down to be taken on the road to trade shows.
- New construction materials were designed with the intent to have as few scraps and waste as possible.
