Prepping a shower with traditional 2 coat lath and mortar float for flat, plumb and square walls.

Installing 5/8" AC plywood and Schluter Ditra Mat over an existing plywood subfloor to stiffen it up for a lasting tile installation. This floor sat over 24" OC joists and wasnt suitable for tile before we added the additional plywood. The correct subfloor prep is crucial for a lasting tile floor.

In this master bathroom we installed SunTouch warm wire floor heat and then a 1 1/4" mortar bed for a flat and level and very solid substrate to install the marble mosaics over.
