Why should a bed always be against the wall? Here we show off the design of a sleigh bed by placing it in the middle of the room, facing windows that reveal a dramatic view of Manhattan.

The rolled arm sofa, gothic style chairs and paisley covered ottoman complement the abundant original stained wood in this Tudor resoration. The house is especially inviting during the holidays, its charm exceeded only by the warmth and generosity of the family within.
