Harvey Smith Photography. Large second floor master bedroom overlooking the lake. A large taupe damask wallpaper feels fresh but still traditional. The touches of raspberry pink bring a little femininity to the room. A seating area provides a place to relax. Skirt, duvet and shams are custom.

Harvey Smith Photography. The fireplace wall opposite the bed in the master bedroom. The fireplace surround is marble. The cranberry glass and silver hurricane lamps are antiques. Built ins provide plenty of storage and room for display.

In this master bedroom we mixed a new headboard with an antique desk, chair and lamp. The color scheme came from a pair of inherited cranberry glass lamps (not shown in this picture). The tone on tone brings interest to the walls and the linen print bedding brings in color and pattern.

Cozy seating area in the master bedroom of a lakefront home. Hurricane glass lamps were inherited from the clients grandmother and inspired the color scheme in the room. The antique chair with its down cushion is a great place to curl up with a good book or your favorite design magazine.
