The original kitchen had a peninsula by the back door leaving a tiny eating area. We removed the peninsula and added an island which the kitchen had plenty of room for. All the appliances have matching decorative panels...even a hidden warming drawer that no one can see. We chose custom turned legs for the island to give it some weight since we added weight at the ceiling with header and crown. There was empty space by the stairs so we added some extra pantry storage and accented it with decorative feet. The cabinets are Bishop Cabinets in the Richmond Cherry door with Medium stain with a Chocolate Glaze. This kitchen we designed by Debbie Harrell and the second kitchen that Debbie has remodelled for this client.
