We updated the kitchen, family room, and dining room.

We removed an old fireplace that closed the kitchen off from the family room. This opened the space up and made entertaining while preparing food easier for this busy retired couple.

We removed the dated paneling and beams from the family room.

In the kitchen we replaced their oak cabinets with white painted shaker wood cabinets which brighten the whole space. The cabinets boast glass doors and are backlit to display favorite family cookware heirlooms. The counter tops were transformed from laminate to a beautiful and durable granite.

By installing an eat-at counter we were able to utilize the breakfast nook area for the fridge, pantry and added a wine bar.

This drastically increased their work space and helped the flow of the kitchen.

We also added many aging in place features to help this couple in the coming years.
