This is what we did. The goal was simple. Bring this kitchen into the 21st century while keeping the color scheme similar to the original. We installed white painted shaker cabinets, granite countertops, subway tile backsplash, stainless steel appliances, etc. The client, who is a return customer, opted for more of a transitional décor by using modern color cabinets and bar stools while using more traditional cabinet door styles, hardware, and lighting fixtures.
