The homeowner was seeking to brighten the cherry cabinetry with a lighter quartz counter top, an updated porcelain mosaic backsplash and oil-rubbed bronze hardware. The original dark quartz was replaced with Caesarstone Taj Royale Quartz. The island was updated with a mitered edge. The original brushed nickel hardware was replaced with oil rubbed bronze hardware which gives the cabinetry a transitional, farmhouse flare that complements the style of the home.
