This kitchen was designed with the quality of light at the forefront. My homeowner wanted to capture the amazing view of nature and the morning light flowing through the windows. By removing walls and creating an open floor plan two moods unite: light is able to radiate throughout the kitchen, breakfast nook and dining room while guests and the homeowners are able to utilize the entire area and socialize. As a designer, I like to refer to this kitchen design as a “sit down and talk to me while I cook”.
