Transitional kitchen with white cabinets and a dark island

This transitional kitchen features white cabinets and a dark wood island. The cabinet doors feature a raised panel design, as well there being a number of doors outfitted with glass for optimal display purposes. The island is fitted with a quartzite countertop, while the surrounding cabinets utilize granite.

The island, as pictured here, does a great job of breaking up the white cabinets. The quartzite countertop on the island, since it's white, also contrasts very well with the dark color of the island and the black countertops in the rest of the kitchen.
