Transitional Radiance

One of the main complaints the owner had about their previous master bathroom was that it had bad lighting that needed updating. In addition to the lighting other things we needed to focus on were the dated colors, dysfunctional storage, and bathroom tub that they were not a fans of. They wanted a modern transitional look for the master bath, so that was our goal during this remodel.
Organization and storage were key for this couple, in order to allow for more storage we opted to expand utility closet next to the shower to allow for better function to fit their needs.
In order to stay in line with the transitional/modern look the couple was looking for we used quartz counter tops, chrome finishes, subway shower tile and gray cabinet finishes.
The couple opted not to have a bathtub and have a large shower with a seat and handheld shower head giving this new shower a spa like feel.

The previous bathroom was very dark and didn't allow for the natural lighting to shine through causing the owners to dislike the lighting in their previous space. By opening up the shower a little more and picking more of a translucent tile in the shower as well. For the backsplash we were able to turn this master bath into the transitional radiant space they were looking for.
