Tree lighting is integral to most impactful lighting designs, but as with any other lighting, it must be done with a purpose. The purpose for lighting select trees is different for each project, but most of the trees are lit to add beauty to a space after dark, highlight boundaries on the property or add depth to an overall lighting display. Trees are lit from below, or up lighting or from within the tree down, down lighting.
