A single home in upper Tsawwassen that needed updating. The entire kitchen was gutted and the door separating it from the dining and living room area was removed to create and open floor plan and let additional light in. An island was added. The existing recessed light was easily retrofitted with LED lights (thanks to whoever came up with that idea!). The fridge is cabinet depth to add space. The two-tone cabinets are very modern and minimalist. To add character, a rustic wood ceramic tile from Spain was used for the backsplash. A gray cork floor adds warmth.
