The focus of this renovation project, located in rural Vermont, is the main floor of the house, including the kitchen, dining and living spaces. Existing interior walls have been removed and new windows added to open up the interiors, add light and enhance the connection to the surrounding landscape. The resulting spaces are unified by the simple warm palette of materials and colors and feature abundant natural light and open sight-lines.
