Sometimes a simple project turns into much greater ideas. This custom Cherry kitchen began with the customers dislike of their existing island shape and size. The end result is what you see here..... Custom solid cherry cabinetry with full inset doors and drawers. The island is finished in a black pigmented varnish with distressed accents. Furniture feet compliment most of the cabinets in this kitchen as well. A matching pantry door unit was used to blend the pantry closet into one with the balance of the kitchen. Black glass tile was applied to the backsplashes of the kitchen space and finished with a black grout. Matching the distressed island, black shiplap was installed beneath the breakfast bar and as the backsplash accent to the butlers pantry space. Custom means that we can offer a variety of different options..... The drywall wrapped support post was removed and replaced with a new solid cherry support post to match the cabinetry. Newly refinished hardwoods complete the remodel.
