We wanted to follow up with EleMar on the results of our use of the quartzite slab for a lighted countertop. My wife procured L.E.D. panels from Samsung for the under-counter lighting. A remote control allows us to select colors. We are so pleased with the quartzite's translucent properties. See attached pictures for the effect. The one feedback I could offer is the quartzite had a tendency to shatter when cut by the installer. Thanks again for your generous advice and great selection there at EleMar.
