Everything but the vanity was updated in this neutral guest bath. The vanity counter was updated with granite, a new ceramic sink and chrome fixtures. Across from the vanity (not shown in these photos), the old vinyl tub and walls were replaced with a drop in tub and neutral tiled walls. Two-inch floor tiles were ripped up and replaced with large 14" ceramic tiles placed at an angle to enlarge the space visually. Custom scalloped Roman shades were hung to the ceiling to create height, and the same ticking inspired fabric was used for the shower curtain. The rectangular oak framed mirror was replaced with a much more interesting 24" round mirror from Uttermost. A vintage linen cabinet, and a framed vintage magazine advertisement, help define the friendly welcoming feel of this guest bathroom.
