A unique twist on the popular "river" tables where the void in the center of the table is an open live edge valley.

The client wanted freedom to pull power cords up from their power box (located on the floor below the table) and didn't want a data port to plug into on the table surface. We suggested creating this "valley" feature to add a nice aesthetic touch and satisfy that need.

The tabletop surface is made from Siberian elm and filled with black epoxy in the checks and knots for stability and a nice contrast. Finished with a UV resistant satin sheen conversion varnish for protection against sunlight, coffee spills, and writing.
