The tall, thin and narrow main house is oriented East to West on the property. The site is framed by three streets which in turn create three setbacks. To maximize privacy the entrance is through a smaller court recessed in the south elevation. Solid masonry walls also wrap and protect the house from view. The residence then opens to the rear courtyard.
