Addition of porch and the room above looks as if that was a part of the original design. Addition was done in order to add an elevator which could only be placed outside of existing home.

Existing patio was made a part of the home by adding multi-slide doors.

Use of motorized louvers and screens created an indoor outdoor living room.

A lonely fountain became a central focal by addition of a backdrop.

A door to a machine room for elevator equipment is camouflaged by use of a mirrored. SOS hinges were used and strips were installed along edges to hide the door.

Transom windows were added to increase feeling of the height.

Back lit onyx was hung on 3/4" bolts, 6 per panel. LED strips were installed in aluminum extrusions, sideways. This allows for replacing a dead strip.

Transitional dining room has a modern ceiling with gold wall paper and LED cove lighting.

Wall between family room and living/dining area was opened up to create an open house plan. Coves were added and the LED cove lighting gives a lofty feeling.

Nook area and family seating were defined by ceiling coves. A structural wall which became an interior wall was camouflaged by adding Bizaza mosaics (on the right ).

Contemporary light fixture in kitchen becomes a focal point. Two fixtures were connected together to cover the length of the island.

Granite top rolls down the side like a waterfall. Gives a visual continuity.

Horizontal lines of wood on cabinetry and glass backsplash complements each other.

A Subzero vine cooler. angled vine storage shelves, mirrored counter back, marble top counter and Egyptian wallpaper gives this vine cellar a class of it's own.

Precious stone counter is complemented with matching checkerboard tiles on the wall. Gold wallpaper was cut into squares to further complement the wall tiles.

A prayer room has gold wallpaper that glitters in LED strip. The shape of Indian arch is accentuated.
