An old U-shaped kitchen gets a facelift with fun pops of color! Knotty Alder cabinets sport art knobs, contrasting moulding, and a painted island to open up this space and create an airy, interactive environment. These clients are from Mozambique, and wanted to bring some African flare to their newly purchased "new to them" home. In order to do this, we removed some walls, reconfigured the kitchen, dining and living room layouts, added their favorite African colors and textures to bring a sense of rhythm and balance to this space.
