This walnut base was salvaged from a retired orchard. When orchard trees get old they do not produce as much as young trees so they are removed to put in new more fruitful trees. When this happens the trees are typically taken to the landfill or to the chipper. This tree was not and is now ready to be your next project/ furniture piece!
