This retired couple left their country life in the Catskill mountains of New York to move to a condo in suburban Virginia- suburb of DC. Taking just a few prized possessions from their country life, they started fresh with new furniture and decor. The request was for a deep gold living room and to carry some form of yellow through the house's common areas. Paler shades of yellow were used in the foyer and hallways. Wanting to use blue as their kitchen color, we chose a mid-toned hue. To accommodate their twin grand daughters' request for both green and pink in their bedroom, painted headboards were created.
