This is what we started with. A narrow space with a large electrical box hanging on the wall and a 7' tall gate and fence with no character.

So we tore down the fence and gate to build something more substantial, attractive, and even a focal point. A pergola with 10" beams is added for shade and to define the living space.

Brandon builds a floating bench for the wall and covers the electrical box for use as a table.

Pavers were added for a permanent floor and to facilitate good drainage away from the house. LED Lighting was added in the pergola so no wire is visible.
