A traditional Hamptons home, replete with miles of interior molding. The expanse of surface decoration was reduced in an effort to neutralize the spaces. The interiors are designed around the needs of a small family and a rotating selection of art works that are culled from the familial holdings. Each of the rooms is treated as an individual environment, with the works displayed as the common element. A den with dark woods and plush carpeting and drapes. A living room with expansive, symmetrical seating arrangements. A formal dining room with shag, sleek seating and quirky lighting. Each of these environments take on a different atmosphere according to the art works and their influence on the space.
