Water Oak

Designed to feel as though it's always been here, this 30's and 40's summer lodge style home influenced from the same era the lake was developed. The family retreat nestles into the steep slope adjacent to the lake, to maximize water views from every room on four different levels. Water oaks on the site serve as inspiration for the color palette on and throughout the home.

This guest suite has tall board and batten wainscot that wraps the room and incorporates into the bathroom suite. The color palette was pulled from the exterior trim on the hone and the wood batten is typical of a 30s interior architecture and draftsmen detailing.
