"The Guardian Tapestry” was part of a liturgical fiber art grant that Wendy received from the Wisconsin Arts Board. The study entailed weaving a large tapestry at the Saint Joseph's Retreat Center, along with an art exhibition, lecture, and independent study with the renown fiber artist Rebecca Bluestone. The tapestry, woven on a 5'x6' ellipse iron armature, is an interpretation of spiritual protection, symbolized through abstract Angel wing and Christian cross panels.
