Waterfall Slab Table

This one of a kind walnut slab table with a terraced 'waterfall' top was hand crafted by local wood artisan Ben Feathers. The piece features two hand cut, spalted hickory butterfly joints and a hand rubbed oil finish. The steel hairpin legs delicately hold the slab aloft without becoming a destruction from the tops intricate beauty. The walnut slab was locally and sustainably harvested in Chester County, Pa. The cuts made during the milling of the tree, along with the rippling figured grain, influenced the 'waterfall' motif carried out by the craftsman.
