A renovation of a beautiful family home on Tampa Bay in idyllic St. Petersburg, Florida. The home had been through multiple renovations since 1967 and our challenge was to bring the mediterranean look of the 1990's into look and function of a new home with modern conveniences. Here we present a clean, fresh, updated "Modern Mediterranean" that serves as the perfect canvas for the client's pops of color and artwork. The home received brand new solid core classically styled raised panel doors on the interior, and gorgeous new impact French Doors at the rear exterior, serving to seamlessly bring the outdoors in. Wood went darker, while walls went lighter and brighter. Dated mouldings were removed, while classic casings were added to dress the architecture just right. All closets were outfitted to modern functionality, and all doors were complemented by square hardware in polished chrome and oil-rubbed bronze finishes. We also added new and sophisticated ceiling fans to bring the balmy breeze indoors. Truly a challenging and exciting project!
