This homeowner had their home built many years ago and now they were ready to correct some issues that have bothered them since the original construction was finished. Their immediate scope was to just update the kitchen, but as the discussion continued, the project began to grow to encompass much of the first floor. We removed a wall which extended from the kitchen through the hall and separated the entry and living room. It always bothered them that the entry appeared small and the house seemed so chopped up. New wood flooring was laid in the entire first floor which tied all the adjoining spaces together.
