The dining room is a textured distressed finish consisting of multiple layers of paint creating a flaky and chipped paint look. The subtle use of warm and cool colored grays adds a lot of depth and texture to the room. The powder room is a faux silver leaf with a tarnished finish. The koi fish motif was borrowed from a wallpaper pattern and is hand painted. I treated the ceiling with a square leaf effect contrasted with the rectangle sheets on the walls.
