Originally built in the late 1800's, this home is one of the oldest in Western Springs. Historic photos showed a beautiful wrap-around porch which the owners wanted to recreate and update. The renovation was a multiple stage process starting with the porch, followed by a four-car detached garage. Then the original attached garage and kitchen were totally gutted to create a lovely great room which opens to the adjacent kitchen. The renovations gave new life to an historic gem.
