Wheelchair Accessible

A homeowner in San Luis Obispo came to us needing cabinetry to accomodate the fact that she is wheelchair bound. We worked with her Occupational Therapist to identify needs specific to her and her household (both current and looking to the future). We also used our showroom and samples to help her decide the exact heights and shapes/uses of the cabinets we created for her home. She was so happy to be able to prepare meals for her family again.

The hall bath vanity is lowered in height and has a tall toekick to accomodate use & cleaning from a wheelchair. As this is not the main bath for the homeowner we opted for more storage under the sink rather than knee space.
