We were brought in to do a complete kitchen remodel. Originally the client had wanted us to include adding a window in the adding great room to get more lighting. We suggested the client hold off on this this plan until the kitchen was completed. As part of the project we did a complete reconfiguration of the lighting. This combined with the white cabinets and white backsplash really brightened up the space.

The client wanted to eliminate the kitchen table all together. We designed an island that is nice and large. It can comfortably accommodate 6 people with room to spare. As part of the design we put the switch for the island lights ON the island. This not only hides the switch but it gives the client easy access to turn the lights on.
