The homeowners were trying to get away from very ornate and traditional styles as they had in previous homes. They went with very clean and simple lines throughout the house, especially the kitchen. The wife did keep some of her "girly" accents such as crystal chandelier and crystal knobs on the cabinetry. The mantle hood was custom made on site by Starmark's Hearth hood components but modified to fit a 24" deep blower inside. The refrigerator, freezer, and dishwasher are paneled and disappear into the rest of the kitchen.
