Wildcat Creek

The design was centered around a beautiful 1840's Greek Revival estate that was brought back to its architectural heyday. The complete landscape overhaul started by creating an exciting design that allows for ample parking on the heated chip-seal and cobblestone bordered horseshoe driveway. From the street the property is buffered from the road with a dry-stacked New England fieldstone wall with three large honeylocust trees to bring the three story frame of the house down to scale. The backyard is entirely fenced in with a wood and wire fence that starts to fade into the bordering landscape. A large raised planter garden, made of aged granite, takes over much of the backyard along with an intimate broken bluestone patio off the kitchen. The plantings are designed to border the property to help soften and screen views into and out of the property to create a more private experience for the homeowner and their guests.
