Wildcliff Interior Renovation

The project involved finishing off an existing basement for a growing family to include a guest bedroom, study, bath, children's playroom, utility closet, and walk-in storage room. Despite the small footprint, due to the existing topography, the unfinished basement was framed out with 10' ceilings. Taking advantage of the height, a barrel-vault was created over the bedroom and study with uplit scalloped cove lighting behind traditional crown molding. Double pocket doors allow for ample circulation to compensate for the relatively tight space and natural light was pulled in from windows reset within the existing exterior walls.
