Some have been as close as my front porch, but sightings are rare, and it's difficult to get a great reference photo for painting....

Coyote Pups - I could not resist the cute little faces of four coyote pups rescued by the Tucson Wildlife Center. Their mom, who had been hanging around the parking lot at Raytheon, was thin and sickly, and when she could no longer care for her babies, she deposited them at the employees' entrance...

Morning Stroll - I saw these three cows in a field while on a painting trip to Taos, NM and knew I had to paint them. I loved the faces of the two babies! I watched them for a long time waiting to get the perfect photo of the three of them all looking at me in the same pose.

This hummingbird lives in my backyard. No matter how many times I see a hummingbird, I am amazed at this little marvel of nature.
