Lovely one story home (Plus ROG) for a couple seeking to retire. Finding a new home in the desired neighborhood was difficult, so the buyers chose a one story gem on the market that they felt had great potential.
The original builder Ron Curtis, built this custom home in the 1980"s. While the home had great "bones", it was quite dated and needed a makeover. Calling upon Ron Curtis who knew the home well, they began the process of bringing it to it's current glory. Together with Kelsie Hornby, CID, ASID, it became their dream home. Scope of the project included raising the foyer ceiling to create a grander entry, remodeling the bathrooms and kitchen, new lighting, painting over stained woodwork throughout and adding new crown moldings, closing up existing doorway, new fireplace surrounds, and new furnishings for most areas. Sprucing up the exterior entry with a new brick courtyard, new garage door to add height, and fresh paint completed the remodel.
