Urban lot near downtown Austin. Owners wanted a front yard courtyard that featured a pool and gardens. The owners are mostly very private people but they do throw charity events and small parties so the courtyard in Austin's (mostly) mild climate made sense. By the way, the carport, hidden behind a trellis of ivy, looks like a garage from the front but it's open to the back and houses two electric car charging stations.
