Wondrous in Worthington

This Worthington project encompassed two different structures...a new 3 car garage/Carriage House as well as restoring an historic barn on the property. This is our 3rd and 4th project with the homeowners and its such a joy to work with someone so talented and with such a flair for design! These spaces mirror their taste and lifestyle perfectly, blending their traditional style with the fabulous contemporary elements they love.

This historic old barn was lovingly restored to it's (better than) former glory! Now used by the homeowners for casual gatherings, holiday celebrations and family TV night!

The old bar doors (see BEFORE photo at the end) were replaced with black french doors framed my extra large barn doors to evoke the original use of the structure.

The interior of the former barn was completely renovated and has a Mitsubishi mini split system to heat and cool the space comfortably.

This copper bar top was designed by our homeowner with the help of our skilled craftsman. Rivets attach it to the structure and add their own design element. Heat was applied to the copper to enhance the patina.

The bar was built from reclaimed lumber removed from the original structure during the renovation. Beams that were replaced are used to support copper floating shelves

An american flag flies front and center, camouflaging the mini split system that heats and cools the space. Stained concrete floors add a easy to care for floor surface for entertaining and family life.
