Woodland Heights Home
3120 Porter St is a beautifully designed home situated in the heart of the Woodland Heights Historic District, which runs along the James River just south of Richmond, VA. Woodland Heights began as a riverside retreat in the 1800's and it was one of Richmond's very first trolley car neighborhoods. The district's trolley cars were pulled by horses until the turn of the century when electrically powered cars were introduced to the area.
3120 Porter St is built in the style of colonial revival, much like many of the other homes in the neighborhood. One of the distinguishing features of this home is its stained, leaded glass embellishments at its entrance. Unfortunately, this home fell into severe disrepair over the past several decades. We're thrilled to be able to breathe life back into this stately, historic home.
