Woodside estate
I was called by the clients to ready the estate for a three-day corporate board meeting. The clients live out of state and the wife (a personal friend) is rarely at this property, so she realized that it needed many finishing touches to accommodate guests. The estate has a main house, four guest homes, and a Tennis pavilion that all needed accessorizing with accent lighting and furniture, accessories, antiques, and rugs and artwork from the client's own collection. The husband will only allow authentic antiques and area rugs, no imitations. He also does not like real or imitation foliage inside, but I was able to sneak in a few spots of greenery and floral arrangements to break up the predominate beige and brown tones in all the wall colors and floors.
I used many antiques, rugs, and artwork from his own collection that he shipped to the estate. I also purchased several antiques from one of my favorite shops in San Francisco, and had a few customized light fixtures made.
